What is your business showing you?

Starting a business, developing an existing business further or building a business together with someone often begins with an idea, enthusiasm and trust.

And yet, somewhere along the way, a feeling may arise that you cannot quite put your finger on.

Is this the right direction? Does this collaboration really feel right for us? Why do we keep getting stuck? Or why does something feel so natural?

Your business as a system

A business naturally consists of people, tasks, clients, finances and processes. But alongside these, patterns and dynamics also develop that are not always immediately visible.

Who takes the lead? Who takes responsibility? Who takes up space and who perhaps holds back? Are roles naturally divided, or do expectations arise that have never really been expressed?

When you start a business with other people, you each also bring your own history, experiences and beliefs. Sometimes these work together beautifully. Sometimes patterns emerge that make the collaboration more complicated.

A systemic constellation helps to make these dynamics literally visible.

From thinking to experiencing

In a constellation, you give different elements of your business a place in the space. This might be your own place as an entrepreneur, your business, a business partner, a particular role or a future development.

By literally taking a place and experiencing what happens there, you gain access to information that you may not find as easily in an ordinary conversation.

You do not need to know in advance what the outcome should be.

By slowing down and observing, what needs attention can become visible.

Perhaps a particular role turns out not to suit you at all. Perhaps you are carrying more responsibility than is yours. Or perhaps there is a great deal of trust and potential in a collaboration, but certain agreements still need to be clarified.

The horses as part of the field

At La Sonrisa, the horses move freely through the space.They are not given a specific task and are not directed to a particular place. They move through the field and respond to what is unfolding in the moment.

Sometimes a horse comes closer. Sometimes it chooses to keep its distance. Sometimes its behaviour changes when someone takes a different place.

This can be an invitation to slow down and observe again.

Not to say: “The horse is doing this, so that means…”

But rather to explore:What do you notice? What does it touch in you? What changes?

The horses therefore add another layer to the process. Their presence can make something visible or tangible that you may not yet have had words for.

For an existing or new business

A systemic constellation can be valuable when you already have a business and are facing an important decision. For example, when you are exploring a new direction, considering a collaboration, wanting to grow or noticing that certain patterns keep repeating.

But it can also be valuable when you are just starting out.

Perhaps you have an idea that you are excited about, but want to explore whether it is truly your direction.

Or perhaps you want to start a business with someone and would first like to experience how you stand alongside each other.

It is then not only about the practical question of who does what, but also about the underlying dynamics.

Can you both take your own place? Is there room for each person’s qualities? Can responsibilities be clearly divided? And can you build something together without one of you losing yourself in the process?

The constellation does not determine the outcome

A systemic constellation does not give you ready-made advice.The horse does not determine whether you should start a business. And a constellation does not decide whether a collaboration is right or wrong.

It gives you something else: insight into what is happening.From there, you can make more conscious choices yourself.

Sometimes a clear yes emerges. Sometimes it becomes clear that something else needs to happen first. And sometimes you discover that a particular direction is no longer right for you.

That too is valuable information.

Because entrepreneurship is not only about strategy, plans and results. It is also about your place, your choices, your relationships and the way you work together.

Perhaps the question is therefore not only:“Will this work?” But above all:“Is this place right for me?”
